Step 1 — Create your account

Permaura always starts with a free account. Registration is a one-time handshake that establishes your identity and entitlement — it is never a runtime dependency. Once you're activated, a local gateway keeps working fully offline; if Permaura's service is ever down, your agents keep running.

Go to permaura.com/signup and enter a name, email, and a password of at least 8 characters. That's the whole form.

Click Create account and you land straight in the console.

Follow along with a demo account

Don't want to use your own email yet? Sign in with one of the shared demo accounts from the welcome page — for example ada.demo@permaura.com / DemoPass2026!. They open in demo mode, so you'll see a fully populated console before connecting anything.

You can sign in with just a password, but Permaura supports stronger sign-in whenever you want it. From Settings → Password & security you can turn on:

  • Two-step verification — a one-time email code or an authenticator app (TOTP).
  • Passkeys — Face ID / Touch ID / a security key, no password at all.

See Two-step verification for the walkthrough. You can always come back to this later.

What you get immediately

You're signed in, but you haven't connected anything yet — so the console greets you with a welcome dialog and, if you choose, fills every page with demo data so you can explore the whole product before pointing it at anything real.

The welcome dialog is also where the next step begins — connecting a gateway.

➡️ Continue to Step 2 — Connect a gateway.
